Roasted Broccoli

  • broccoli
  • salt
  • garlic, minced
  • black pepper
  • olive oil
  • *optional: shredded Parmesan


  1. preheat oven to 450F.
  2. wash then cut broccoli into equal size florets. (after washing, make sure you shake off all excess water. the drier the broccoli, the better the oil will stick)
  3. in a large mixing bowl, toss florets in olive oil, salt, minced garlic.
  4. spread evenly in one layer on baking pan.
  5. bake 15-20 min or so, until golden brown on edges and generally yummy looking.
  6. sprinkle with fresh ground black pepper. (and parmesan)
